This is why I love Etsy, where else would you stumble across something like this?

It was Pure London (the fashion buying show) at the weekend. I spent Friday and Saturday building the stand I had designed for the company I currently work with (yes they will still remain nameless...) and then left before the show opened on Sunday. So I missed all the actual fun. As usual. I did manage to have a quick run around pre-official opening and remembered that I hadn't bought anything...

Forever21 has just opened in London. I've not been to the store yet, but by all reports it's going to be taking on the likes of H&M for bargain fashion finds. The jeans look pretty decent on their website, but has anyone tried them on? They are definately cheap. Maybe not a good sign... Anyway it's a Californian company, selling Korean trends. Interesting newcomer to the UK fast retailing race!?

It seems that you can't go to a festival anymore without something painted on your face and/or something funny on your head. So, as I'm still not convinced about the merits of painting on your face, I am wholeheartedly supporting the 'wearing something on your head that you probably wouldn't do under any other circumstances' crew.

Today I just want to share this amazing leather clutch/folder/portfolio with you. It is so beautiful I won't bore you with any of my usual ramblings. Now all I need is an important meeting to go to and I'll have an excuse to buy it... oh and it's only £55 (it's from ASOS, but no-one will ever know)!

When I discovered this website I got so engrossed I dribbled baked bean juice on my lap top and it has never been quite the same again. However, that was about 6 months ago now and I feel I can't keep this shop a secret anymore. Forget ASOS, check out Pixie Market! I'm not sure why more people don't know about this online store. Maybe because, like me, any one who comes across it wants to keep it...

I really want to stock nice underwear in Fox and Feather. I don't want it to be fancy or expensive, just some pretty knickers and maybe some bandeau bra thingies. I am having a bit of trouble tracking any down. There are a few American brands I know about, but it would be good to find something a little closer to home. Anyone know of anything? It was St Pauls Carnival in Bristol yesterday. I missed the parade but arrived with a plastic bottle full of home-made mojito at about 7pm ready for some dancin'.
